Love Ya Dad !!!

There's this one reason why I cry,

It's the thought of ever having to tell you "Goodbye".

I sometimes wish I could open up my heart,

To let you see how much I miss you every time we're apart.

When you're around,

everything's perfect and life's a bliss.

When you're not,

there's something that I always miss.

I fight, I scream, I behave completely stupid with you,

But you always forgive me for everything I do.

Sometimes, I hurt you,

and become the cause of your worry.

But I never mean a thing I say,

and for all the rudeness I feel so sorry.

I want to let you know about those lonely times,

when all I need is your hug.

I want to tell you how to keep myself from falling apart,

I act arrogant and smug.

You console me when I'm in distress,
You ease my pain.
You give me more than I deserve,
without expecting anything in return or any gain.
I want to let you know that whenever I pray,
I ask God to take care of you, 
every single day.

I throw all my tantrums at you,

Ever wonder why??

That's because I love you,

And in front of you I don't have to hide my feelings, I don't have to be shy.

When you're away I miss you,

The moment that you're out of my sight, I wish I could meet you.

Actually, I guess I don't have much to ask from God

Wind of change.......

Turning back the cracked, yellow pages of the novel of life,

today I observe freshness replacing the decay.

Hope springs and the butterflies dance,

to welcome a brand new day.

After the deadly winter slumber,

the flowers adorn the previously lifeless branches.

The leaves traipse over the new, yielding land,

Fragrance of rejuvenation fills the air.

The endless chirruping of birds calls towards a new horizon.

The sun's first ray of desire,

touches the frozen mountains.

The once lifeless lake teems with verve.

Everything talks of a change, a different tomorrow,

Eradication of all miseries, plight and sorrow.

Though the binding of the book of life appears to crack,

experiences and memories form its very strong back.

With a million dreams, life hopes to make a new start,

with no complaints or regrets to store in the heart.

The lyrics of life mingles with the rhythm of love,

as the Almighty showers his grace from the heavens above.

Life and death.....

The first kiss of life touches the tender lips,

A glistening tear adorns the eye.

I'm captivated by the evil decree of defeat,

My life, crushed under negativity's feet.

Leaves of victory sway across the breeze of oblivion,

And I stand on the pulpit of stagnating silence with no opinion.

The shrieks of agony fill my mind,

My heart is veiled by sorrow,

My voice is a forbidden roar of torture,

I can breathe no more.......

The caress of death smothers my being,
All directions lost, emptiness encompasses me.
My fondest dreams shatter into fragments,
strewing remorse on my empty soul.
A prayer echoes ceaselessly across the wilderness,
The blossoms from the tree above settle on my desolate tombstone.

Once upon a time........

When she was just a girl,

She lived in this beautiful world.

Strewn with fragments of fantasy,

and never-ending ecstacy.

Life was like a canvas ,

filled with hues of red, yellow, green,blue....

It was like that until the time big she grew. 

She came to see her peers,

She confronted her fears.

She knew about problems,

She learnt about pain.

She knew what it felt like to lose or gain.

She's all encompassed by negativity now,

Looking for a way to escape life somehow.

So, she closes her eyes,

and goes back to her magnificent world.

She dreams of a simple life,

where there's no sadness or lies.

She feels honesty in every gaze ,

and calls people her own.

She dreams of all the beauty she had once known.

She seeks solace in her peaceful sleep,

as her mind delves into mysteries, fascinating and deep.......

The Sky and Me.....

The sky has a thousand reasons to smile,

but still it cries.

I have a thousand reasons to cry,

but the smile on my face never dies.

The sky sheds its anger by roaring out loud,

I let my anger melt in the laughter of the crowd.

The sky lets the world feel its pain,

when it floods or drowns it.

But I hide most of my pain inside,

it keeps devouring me, bit by bit.

The sky successfully helps people by dissolving their tears,

I can only pretend to be happy by hiding my fears. 

The sky knows no limits,
It can extend as much it wants to
Iam however trapped,
Bound to be where I don't want to.
The sky has clouds as friends,
who are so carefree.
But, care is an integral part of my life,
that's kind of solitary.
I cry my heart out to display my grief and pain,
The sky, however drains out all its emotions through the heavy rain.......
